An accessible shuttle service will be available. People with reduced mobility should contact 0041 22 76 77 777 (from any phone) or 7 7777 (from a CERN phone) if they need special assistance for transportation between the Prévessin and Meyrin sites between 4:30 p.m. and 00:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

Accessible toilets and a dedicated viewing area will be available. Check the map for exact locations.

A seating area with outdoor furniture will be available for those who wish to sit down while enjoying a meal or a drink. Please check the map for exact locations. 

Priority access to Restaurant 1 and its annex will be granted for individuals with specific needs or vulnerabilities.

For those who need a break from the sensory stimuli and bustle of the village, a quiet space/recovery corner will be available. Please check the map for the exact location.

Subtitles in French and English will be provided during speeches.

In the event of an emergency, use the CERN Emergency number:

Specific rescue teams and resources have been allocated to the event. CERN Fire and Rescue service, Medical Service nurses, and HUG personnel will be present on-site to ensure a quick response. 

In addition, volunteer First aiders « Sauveteur Secouriste au Travail » will be on-site and can be identified by their green armbands. Don’t hesitate to approach them directly.  

An advanced medical post will be set up in Building 40.

In adverse circumstances (e.g., adverse weather forecast, event site evacuation, etc…), instructions and updates will be communicated to participants by the CERN70 event management team. 

Communication will be shared via the Stage Audio and Video systems, the CERN Campus App, and the safety and security personnel on-site.

Alcohol: The provision of alcohol is prohibited for persons under the age of 18.

Hearing protection: The event complies with Swiss laws, O-LRNIS, and noise levels will be monitored. Some shows may reach a high level of noise. To protect your ears, earplugs will be available at information stands, along with a limited number of noise-cancelling headphones for children. We strongly encourage parents to bring their own noise-cancelling headphones.

Attire: Better safe than sorry! As the event will be held on the lawn of R1, please wear suitable footwear (avoid platform shoes and heels).

To access the event area and avoid traffic congestion, follow the “Coming to the event” instructions. Soft mobility is encouraged. Please respect and follow the instructions of security agents and parking signs.
